Carvedilol Tablets 6.25 mg, 12.5 mg, 25 mg is a beta-blocker with alpha-blocking activity, supplied as tablets.
Uses: Chronic heart failure, hypertension and left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction.
Age group: Adults.
Usual dose: Heart failure: start 3.125 mg twice daily, doubled at 2-week intervals up to 25 mg twice daily; hypertension: 12.5 mg once daily for 2 days, then 25 mg.
