Celecoxib Capsules 100 mg, 200 mg is a COX-2 selective NSAID, supplied as capsules.
Uses: Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain and primary dysmenorrhoea.
Age group: Adults; children with juvenile arthritis by weight under specialist guidance.
Usual dose: Osteoarthritis: 200 mg daily; rheumatoid arthritis: 100-200 mg twice daily; acute pain: 400 mg first dose, then 200 mg as needed; maximum 400 mg per day.
