Uses: Hypertension, symptomatic heart failure and asymptomatic left ventricular dysfunction.
Age group: Adults; paediatric use under specialist supervision.
Usual dose: Hypertension: 5 mg once daily initially, usual 10-40 mg per day in one or two doses; heart failure: start 2.5 mg.
