Silver Sulfadiazine Cream 1% w/w is a topical antibacterial, supplied as a topical cream.
Uses: Prevention and treatment of infection in second- and third-degree burn wounds.
Age group: Adults and children; avoid in newborns and infants under 2 months.
Usual dose: Apply once or twice daily to a thickness of about 3?5 mm on cleansed burn wounds, re-applying as needed.
